Welcome to the home page of the Institute of Virology of the Uniklinikum Erlangen!
The virology institute houses 13 independent research groups, with research foci on Retroviruses, Herpesviruses and Antiviral Immunity. We are committed to research oriented teaching for students of the Medical School, and Bachelor and Master students in the fields of Biology and Immunology.
