HTLV European Research Network (HERN) Conference 2025

HTLV European Research Network (HERN) Conference 2025

Friday, 04 July 2025 – Sunday, 06 July 2025

Venue:

Institute of Clinical and Molecular Virology,
Schlossgarten 4, 91054 Erlangen, Germany

We are pleased to announce the "HTLV European Research Network (HERN) Conference 2025", which will take place from July 4th - 6th, 2025, at the Institute of Virology at the University Hospital in Erlangen, Germany. Erlangen is located close to Nuremberg and one of the best-preserved Baroque planned towns in Germany.

The HERN meeting will provide an excellent platform to present the latest research findings and exchange knowledge about human T-lymphotropic virus type 1 (HTLV-1), which is still a neglected pathogen despite causing severe, life-threatening diseases such as adult T-cell leukemia/lymphoma and inflammatory conditions.

We look forward to an exciting conference filled with inspiring presentations and engaging discussions. In addition to the scientific presentations, we have planned a Conference Dinner with networking opportunities and a visit to a traditional franconian beer garden.

We thank Klaus Überla, director of the Institute of Virology, the DFG and the research training grant GRK2504, Infect-Net and the BMBF for supporting HERN2025.

We cordially invite you to join us in Erlangen in July 2025 to share your newest insights and to shape the future of HTLV research.

Best Regards

Andrea Thoma-Kress, on behalf of the local organizing committee:
