Call for Applications

The participating researchers may suggest members of their own research groups or from groups working on GRK-related topics to join GRK2504. Doctoral researchers in natural sciences and medicine, who have recently started to work on their projects (after January 1st, 2019), are eligible to apply and participate in our recruitment colloquium, which takes place at the Institute of Clinical and Molecular Virology, Erlangen, on December 10th, 2019

Selection criteria are complementarity to the research programme, excellence of the PhD or MD project, and qualification and motivation of the applicant. The number of additional members to be admitted is determined annually based on the variable number of doctoral researchers in medicine and clinician scientists fully participating in the qualification programme, e.g. beyond the period of personal funding (up to a total of 30 GRK2504 training members). Selected candidates are entitled and committed to participate in all activities of the programme.

A recruitment colloquium will take place at the Institute of Clinical and Molecular Virology, Erlangen on December 10th, 2019 and eligible applicants will be invited to present themselves, their current project and their motivation to join the GRK2504 as associated member in a 10 minute oral presentation (in English).
